The Garden
The Venues garden, for ceremony and Drinks
Back in 2016, we had our first weekend away together as a couple on the beautiful Isle of Purbeck, a rural and dramatic peninsula in the heart of the Jurassic Coast. In memory of this, our wedding is going to take place amongst its idyllic countryside at the Kingston Country Courtyard.
Originally a sheep and dairy farm, with workshops centered around two courtyards, the Kingston Country Courtyard was renovated in the late 1990's. It is centered around a converted historic 16th century Purbeck stone barn which will host our Wedding Breakfast and Reception, whilst the surrounding gardens with their views over Purbeck and Corfe Castle, will (weather dependant) host our ceremony.
You can find more info on the venue here.
By Car: Kingston is best reached by car. The venue has plenty of parking, and there are local taxi services available.
By Train: The nearest mainline station is Wareham. From Wareham, you can take a taxi to Kingston (around 20–25 minutes). If you want to get a bus from Wareham, you can find details of the Purbeck Breezer 40 service here.
